Ciuc Premium evolves into the perfect shapeBucharest, 09 July 2008
This summer, Ciuc Premium takes another step in the evolution process of its package design, offering its consumers the same unique taste and unmatched purity, in a brand new premium bottle.
The 500 ml glass bottle will now reflect better the premium quality of the Ciuc Premium beer through its green colour, more attractive slim shape, embossed inscriptions and modernized label. The PET bottle shape was also renewed, following the same Premium approach. The Ciuc Premium can will gain a more attractive look as well.

Our consumers will undoubtedly appreciate a more elegant and stylish design, that now fits perfectly with the Ciuc Premium charatecter and taste.” stated Edwin Botterman, President & CEO Heineken România.
Apart from the green colour, which acts as a statement of the premium quality, the new modern Ciuc Premium bottle has a slimmer, more easily to hold shape. The refreshed label is framed by the following embossed inscriptions, emphasizing the high quality and origins of the Ciuc Premium beer: “Premium Quality” (on the top side) and “The Miercurea Ciuc Brewery” (on the bottom side).
Ciuc Premium participates on regular basis at international competitions where the beer was awarded for its quality. The most recent international competition where Ciuc Premium competed with famous beer brands worldwide and won a gold medal for its quality was Monde Selection, organized in Belgium.
Consumers will be notified about the changes in the Ciuc Premium look through an integrated communication campaign consisting of ATL, BTL and PR activities. Centered around the TV advertising spot, the campaign will emphasize the high quality of the Ciuc Premium beer and the exceptional purity of water used to brew it.
Manufactured ever since 1975, the Ciuc Premium beer immediately became an outstanding brand, due to its unique taste provided by the pure water from Harghita Mountains and the excellent quality of malt and hops.
Ciuc Premium is part of the Heineken Romania brands protfolio, along with Heineken, Zipfer (import), Gösser, Schlossgold, Silva, Golden Brau, Bucegi, Gambrinus, Harghita and Hategana.
